Beats By Dre
For the launch of Beats by Dre's Pink Studio Pro, I illustrated and creative directed a custom limited-edition collection spanning headphone design, packaging, and a suite of original collectible objects. My work included illustrating a series of interchangeable charms for the headphones, designing a scratch-off manifestation fortune globe, creating an original fortune-teller game, and directing the packaging and overall visual narrative tying the collection together.
The work traces back to a childhood spent adorning everything I owned with charms and trinkets, translated here into a set of Beats headphones — one of the most iconic audio brands in the world.
The fortune globe scratches away to reveal a hidden meaning beneath, rendered in the same bubblegum pink as the Studio Pro itself — a small, nostalgic ritual that echoes the fortune-telling games and trinkets of childhood. It's a moment of discovery designed to feel personal, playful, and a little bit magic.
The illustrated charms extend that same spirit of personalization: designed to be swapped and styled onto the headphones, they let each person customize their own set with my artwork, making the piece uniquely theirs. Every charm carries its own symbolism, a small gesture of love, luck, or intention, drawn from the language of vintage adornment and objects imbued with sentiment.
The packaging features a playful ivory and pink cabana stripe, wrapping the collection in a lighthearted, sun-soaked identity, while the accompanying fortune-teller game celebrates Beats by Dre's history and legacy through a whimsical, all-pink lens.
At its core, this collection is a meditation on the poetry of personalization — the emotional narratives we build through the things we choose to keep close, and the quiet power of what we choose to manifest.
