She has helped shape the identity of some of the world's most storied names — uncovering the details, rituals, and histories that define each brand, then reinterpreting them as whimsical illustrations that bring both elegance and narrative to life.
Every piece is hand-drawn, crafted with old-world ink and etching techniques layered with soft pastels. Tanu illustrates richly detailed scenes where characters, spaces, and iconic symbols take on personality — creating depth and a refined, fantastical quality.

For Tanu Vasu, art begins with memory.
Her earliest memory of creating came from her grandfather, who taught her how a simple line could transform into something unexpected — a number becoming a swan. That sense of wonder has remained at the heart of her practice ever since.
Tanu is a collector of memories, images, objects, and stories. Her world is shaped by the things she surrounds herself with, each carrying its own history and meaning — from the objects in her studio to the archives and visual languages of the brands she collaborates with. She draws inspiration from the layers of history that exist within the things we choose to keep and celebrate.
